Another Radio Program in Canada Welcomes the 50th Anniversary of the Cuban Revolution
CANADA, January 9th, 2009. ‘Latino Soy’, radio program from Vancouver, joined the greetings for the 50th Anniversary of the Cuban Revolution. The program broadcasted a live telephone interview to Cuban Ambassador, Teresita Vicente Sotolongo, who sent a message of appreciation on behalf of the Cuban people. The ambassador highlighted that it is not only Cuba the one celebrating but many around the world too, all those who struggle for a better and fairer world to be possible. The ambassador pointed out that 2009 is a year of happiness but also of work to be able to recover from the great damages caused by the three big hurricanes that hit the island last year. The ambassador commented on her next trip to the city of Vancouver and on the intense program of activities to put into practice together with the solidarity groups. (Cubaminrex-Embacuba Canada)
