Cuban State Mission in Jamaica celebrates 52nd Anniversary  of the Triumph of the Revolution.

JAMAICA, January 5,  2011.- Last Friday, December 31, members of the Cuban State Mission in Jamaica held a political and recreational function to mark the advent of the 52nd Anniversary of the Triumph of our Victorious Revolution.

In such activity, held at the residence of the Cuban Ambassador, professionals from the Medical and Educational Brigades, respectively, took part, as well as members of the staff of our diplomatic mission in this sister nation. Minutes before midnight, the words of the Coordinators of the abovementioned brigades resounded, followed by those of Cuban Ambassador Yuri Gala Lopez, who gave a summary of the tasks undertaken by the state mission throughout the year 2010, highlighting the achievements accomplished.
 
The Cuban diplomat expressed special recognition to the Cuban specialists for the work carried out in their respective workplaces and recalled that the Jamaican authorities have publicly given recognition to such positive results. At the end of the Ambassador´s closing remarks, the national anthem of Cuba was sung.
