Celebrated in the Bahamas 52nd Anniversary of the Victory of the Cuban Revolution. 

BAHAMAS, January 18, 2011.- The 52nd Anniversary of the Victory of the Cuban Revolution was celebrated at the Residence of the Cuban Ambassador on Saturday, 15th January 2011. Cuban residents, Bahamian friends, Government officials and members of the Cuban Mission in the Bahamas attended the celebration.

The Cuban Ambassador Jose Luis Ponce remarked on the principal achievements reached by Cuban people during 2010. He exhorted to the Cuban residents and the friends of Cuba in the Bahamas to continue its efforts for demanding the end of the blockade and the immediate release of the Cuban FIVE, unjustly imprisoned in USA.
The Bahamas and Cuba established diplomatic relations on November 30, 1974.  At this moment, more than thirty teachers are working at public schools in Bahamas.  (Cubaminrex-Embacuba Bahamas)
