Alarcón Assures that the U.S. Govt. Organized a Media Plot against the Cuban Five.
CUBA, March 30th, 2011.- The president of the Cuban Parliament, Ricardo Alarcón said that the U.S. government hatched a media plot against the five Cuban antiterrorists and appealed for the use of all legal resources in favor of this case.
The leader of People’s Power organization remarked that the U.S. government did not present all the evidence it has on the case; instead, it hid and manipulated the evidence.
He also said that there was a memorandum in the case of Antonio Guerrero which requests for the annulment of the proceedings and shows aspects of the U.S. evidence manipulation.
The highest authority of the Cuban National Assembly explained that the federal government paid thousands of dollars to journalists in Miami to carry out a campaign against the Cuban Five during their trial in 2006. (Cubaminrex-RHC)
