The Cuban Five Send Heartfelt Message to the Haitian People
CUBA, Jan 19, 2010. - The Five Cuban heroes unjustly imprisoned in the United States for fighting terrorism have sent a message of encouragement and hope to the people of Haiti, recently devastated by a strong earthquake.
The message, published by Cubadebate web site, underlines that in this tragic and painful moment Haitians are going through the incarcerated patriots send their condolences to the relatives of the victims of this disaster.
We’re sure, point out The Five, that the strength of the Haitian people, along with international aid, will make it possible to recover that country. In that task, they will always have the help and the solidarity of the Cuban people, they affirm.
