New Unjustice of United States against the 5 Heroes.

HAVANA, September 28, 2011.- Rene Gonzalez Sehweret, one of the Cuban antiterrorist Five Heroes will be freed from prison next October 7, 2011 after finishing and suffering his complete brutal and unjust sentence 
Last September 16, Judge Joan A Lenard, South Distric of Florida, denied the motion presented by Rene on February 16, 2011, to allow him to return to Cuba and join his wife, daughters and parents. He must unjustly stay in the United States during 3 years under supervised freedom.
That decision, after 13 years of imprisonment, constitutes an additional deliberate reprisal stimulated by the same motivations of political revenge that characterized the judicial processes where the Five Heroes were condemned in 2001. Behind this decision is the Government of the United States who during years has sheltered terrorism against Cuba  and has protected the terrorist individuals and organizations located in US territory responsible for having caused the death, pain and suffering of thousand Cubans.
 Since 1998, Gerardo Hernandez, Ramon Labanino, Antonio Guerrero, Fernando Gonzalez and Rene Gonzalez has been suffering well known cruel and humiliating mistreatments. They have endured the pressures and abuses, including the separation from their beloved ones, with an admirable strength, without the slight concession to their principles, their character or exemplary behavior as inmates.
The Judge decision cannot be justified in any sense. It is requested Rene stays in the United States, where it is known his life can be in danger, where it is known that the most prominent anticuban terrorism people and  organization are located.
When replying, the Judge cited the sentence imposed to Rene in 2001, which included the absurd especial and additional requisite of  prohibiting him from “associating with or visiting specific places where individuals or groups such as terrorists are known to frequent”. It would be useful to ask how is posible to comly with that requisite if Rene is forced to reside in that territry precisely “where individuals where individuals or groups such as terrorists are known to frequent."
It´d useful to ask also although the answer is already known, what is the motive of the Government of the United States and its legal system to consider in a judicial decision the protection of “individual or groups such as terrorists” living in its territory.
Although is impossible to repair the injustice already made after so many years of unjust imprisonment and political malevolence, the only least decent action of the Government of the United States would be to allow the immediate return of Rene to Cuba, to end with the vengeful sentences against Gerardo, Ramon, Antonio and Fernando and allow their definitive return to the homeland.  
The case of the Cuban Five Heroes is well known internationally. The legal information, arguments and documentation demonstrate the arbitrary nature of the process that took them to prison. It is also well known the mistreatment especially abusive that goes together with the long sentences against these innocent men, the long solitary confinements, large periods without communication and psychological torture, the unjustified separation of the families, the obstacles to the contacts with their lawyers, the deprivation of mothers, wives and children to interact with their beloved ones.
The Cuban people profoundly appreciate all those persons and organizations that have joined their voices to the claim to end the injustice, to the chiefs of Government and State, senior government officials, as well as well known personalities who publicly or private have called for the liberation of the Cuban Five.
It is necessary to demand with all the energy that no other injustice occurs, that no other additional punishment sum up to those already made, that the live of Rene is not put to risk, that his wife and daughters are not deprived from seen him. It is also essential to demand that the opportunistic road of protecting the terrorists even more is not taken, aggravating the complicity that has stained the United States Government.
The cause of Gerardo, Ramon, Antonio, Fernando and Rene is the inalienable cause of the Cuban nation. It is the compromise of a whole people  against the injustice they are suffering, the loyalty to those who have defended the homeland with great sacrifice and courage. It will not end until each of them return to their homeland and join their beloved ones and people. (Cubaminrex)
