Guayasamín Foundation Requests Support of the Cuban Five from U.S. Church
CUBA, August 3RD, 2010.- The Guayasamín Foundation, from Ecuador, published a letter to a priest from a Church in Washington D.C., Peitro Sambi, requesting efforts in support of freeing the Cuban Five, imprisoned unjustly in the United States for fighting terrorism. They asked the church to intercede on behalf of the Cuban anti-terrorist fighters in the same manner they did some weeks ago with the freeing of the imprisoned counterrevolutionaries in Cuba. The representatives of the organization call on Pietro Sambi to make similar efforts in this case and add his voice to the millions of voices from around the world that are calling for the freedom of the Cuban Five.
