Trade Union brief about the Cuba Five.
TRINIDAD Y TOBAGO, 22 de septiembre de 2010.- Joaquín Lacke, officer from the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP), offered update information on the case of the Five Cubans Heroes unjustly incarcerated in the United States, to the members of the Oilfields Worker´s Trade Union of Trinidad and Tobago (OTWU). He also made reference to the activities for the 50th Anniversary of ICAP which will be devoted to the Cuban Five.
Lacke took the opportunity to denounce the criminal embargo against Cuba.
OWTU, as it is known by its acronym in English, is one of the strongest and most prestigious Trade Union of Trinidad and Tobago which has always been at the forefront in the struggle for worker´s rights and has maintained a vertical position of support to the Cuban revolution.
