Association of Cubans Residing in Grenada Issues Statement in favor of the Cuban Five and against the U.S. blockade on Cuba.
GRENADA, September 30, 2010.- The Association of Cubans Residing in Grenada, gathered at Marryshow Community College in St. George’s, Granada, issued a Statement in favor of our Five compatriots unjustly imprisoned in U.S. jails, and demanded that President Barack Obama, lift the blockade on Cuba.
The meeting was attended by Cuban Ambassador to Grenada, Ángel Reigosa de la Cruz, and other members of the Diplomatic Mission on the Island.
The meeting served also to update Cubans living in Grenada on the situation in Cuba. (Cubaminrex-Embacuba Granada)
