Documentary about the trial against the Cuban Five in Trinidad and Tobago.
TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO, September 15TH, 2010.- The documentary "The Trial, An Untold Story" about the trial carried out against the five Cuban Heroes, unfairly imprisoned in the United States, was shown yesterday in Auditorium Simón Bolívar of the Venezuelan Centre in this capital.
The function organized by the organizations "Cuba Solidarity" and "Friends of Cuba" and in which also participated representatives of trade unions, Trinitarians graduates in Cuba, Latinoamerican Ambassadors, Cuban´s residents in the island, as well as members of the Cuban Medical Brigade, was use by the solidarity organizations to send a strong message to the Government of the United States demanding the freedom of the Cuban Five.
Before the presentation of the documentary the Cuban Ambassador made a brief overview on the trial and used the occasion to thank all friends of Cuba in Trinidad and Tobago for their support to the cause of the Cuban compatriots (Cubaminrex - Embacuba Trinidad and Tobago).
