Groups Express that Imprisonment of the Cuban Five an Expression of United States´ Irrational Policy against Cuba.
CUBA, September 15, 2010.- The Coordinator of the International Committee to Free the Five, based in the United States, Alicia Jrapko, stated that the case against the Cuban anti-terrorism fighters is an expression of the irrational policy of the White House against Cuba for more than 50 years. At the 12 year anniversary of their imprisonment, the North-American activist, who has been working on this case since 2001, says that the only thing that has not changed is the silence of the media.
In Quito, the 15th Continental Conference of the American Association of Lawyers and Judges, which will take place between the 22nd and 24th of this month, will call on the participants to pressure U.S. President Barack Obama to free the Five. (Cubaminrex-RHC)
