Local Press announces the commencement of the Campaign in favor of the release of the Five Heroes.
SAINT LUCIA, 5th September, 2011. The local weekly Newspaper “Crusader” published in their edition of September 3rd, 2011, an article to make the public aware of the commencement of the Campaign in Saint Lucia in favor of the release of the Five Heroes. The article entitled “Local Association plans activities in Defense of the five Cubans”, informs the public on the Panel Discussion to be held on September 12th, which will be broadcasted on the regional television station “Think Caribbean Television”, as part of activities taking place in the space of eight weeks, to be carried out intensively, in order to relay a strong message to the United States Administration.
The note reflects also the announcement by the Humanistic Solidarity Association (Saint Lucia – Cuba) for signatures on the Declaration, requesting the release of the Cuban Five, which will be sent to President Obama.
