Special Statement on the Cuban Five Heroes
CARACAS, February 5, 2012. The Heads of State and Government of the countries members of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America- Comerce with the Peoples Treaty, gathered in Caracas, on February 4-5, 2012, expressed their solidarity with the Cuban Five Heroes who suffer political condemnations in United States´ prisons for fighting against terrorism and whose case in known worldwide.
They claimed these men be released, as an act of humaniatarian justice, taking into consideration the long years of imprisonment they have suffered in the harshest conditions, the pain caused to their relatives and loved ones, and to the fact that their condemnations were result of serious judicial irregularities provoked by political revenge.
