Cuban cinema exhibition in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines SAINT VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES, January 11, 2009. Three days of Cuban cinema in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the Revolution. The Cuban embassy in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines organized three days of Cuban cinema titled Memories of a Revolution. During the three days exhibition, the Cuban documentary films showed the history of the Cuban Revolution and its achievements, also the aggression committed against the Cuban people. Important leading members of the government of the United Labor Party were present in each occasion. The first day, the inauguration was done by the Deputy Primer Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sir Louis Straker. Governor General H.E Sir Frederick N. Ballantyne presided the second day session, and the final exhibition was honored with the presence of the Primer Minister Ralph Gonsalves. The three-day film exhibition was very well attended and appreciated by a public from all sectors of society in this East Caribbean island, as well as members of the Government, parliamentarians, members of the diplomatic corp accredited in this country, and Cuban cooperants.
