Embassy of Cuba Participates in University Scholarship Fair in Belize

BELIZE, February 26, 2009. The Scholarship Fair at the University of Belize was held with the participation of the Ambassador of Cuba to Belize, Manuel Rubido. The event was organized by the University and the Ministry of education of Belize.

Hundreds of High School and university students attended the fair and received information on Cuba’s Scholarship Program. At the event, details of this cooperation were exposed and information was given on how to request applications for Cuban Scholarships.

Mrs. Sharon Palacio, Coordinator of Student Services of the University organized the event and thanked Cuba for its participation.
