Belize, 25 of July 2009. With the presence of the ambassador of Cuba to Belize and the participation of all Cuban collaborators from all sectors in the country, as well as members of the Association of Cuban Residents and Belizean friends of Cuba, a political and cultural activity was celebrated, to commemorate the 56 Anniversary of the attack on the Moncada Garrison. All districts of the country celebrated parallel activities and the day was dedicated to claim justice and the immediate release of our five heroes held prisoners in US jails. At 12 Cuban time, collaborators and members of the diplomatic mission to Belize sang the 26 of July Hymn. As part of the activities to celebrate the historical date, on the 26 of July the Cuban film Kangamba will be exhibited as part of an ample portfolio of Cuban cinema at the Bliss Centre within the Belize Film Festival.(Cubaminrex- Embacuba Belize.)
