The Cuban Ambassador in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines goes to NEMO, National Emergency Mobilisation Office, in Kingstown, to talk about Cuba and its International Cooperation

Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, July 8th, 2009. At the invitation of the Director of NEMO, National Emergency Mobilization Office, Mr Howard Prince, the Cuban ambassador in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Olga Chamero Trias, talked at length about Cuba and its international Cooperation. NEMO, the office responsible for Contingency Actions in case of Hurricanes and other natural catastrophes, has an annual interchange with the National Civil Defense of Cuba.

Accompanying the ambassador was Dr Jarles Llama, head of the Cuban medical brigade Operation Vision Now, who explained the results of this important programm developed in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, since it started in 2005. Dr. Llama mentioned that around four thousands Vincentians had been operated under this project. (Cubaminrex- Embacuba San Vicente y las Granadinas)
