Belize, 30 of June 2009. The juvenile ballet of Belize made its national presentation at the Bliss Center for Performing Arts, the largest Theatre in the country. With this performance the young Belizeans conclude another year of training with a Cuban professor as part of the ongoing cooperation between Cuba and Belize. Attending were Prime Minister Dean Barrow, First Lady Kim Barrow and the Ambassador of Cuba to Belize Manuel Rubido. The youths, of ages from 3 to 16, demonstrated their skills in what resulted as a beautiful activity, applauded by a full theatre. Among the ballerinas was also the youngest daughter of the Belizean Prime Minister. The Ambassador of Cuba exchanged during the event with the Head of the Belizean Government and vowed to continue this artistic endeavor that has been so successful in Belize.(Cubaminrex- Embacuba Belize.)
