Mexico-Cuba Solidarity Movement Stronger Mexico, March 1, 2009. The Mexican Movement of Solidarity with Cuba has become stronger in its 14 National Meeting that concluded here Sunday, assured its coordinator Jesus Escamilla. In declarations to Prensa Latina the activist emphasized the meeting was very special because it takes place in the framework of the 50 anniversary of the triumph of the Cuban Revolution and also because it is held amidst improvement of relations between the two countries' governments, he added. The only ones benefited with our separation are the Yankees so that we have to fight against them, he remarked. In this sense he added that less and less peoples of our America are submitted to the empire's orders. There are more nations in full coincidence with us and in synchrony with Bolivar, Marti and Juarez dreams. Escamilla said that one of the most important values, more beautiful of the organization is to put defense of sovereignty and self determination of Cuba before our plurality. He reiterated that this meeting of the Movement will allow it to become stronger nationwide with more clarity in its immediate activities and mainly united. The President of the Cuban Solidarity Committee from Puerto Rico Milagros Rivera and the First Vice Minister of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples will be in charged of the closing ceremony Sunday.(Cubaminrex- PL) |
