CUBA, May 12, 2009. Vice President José Ramón Machado Ventura and David Thompson, the Prime Minster David Thompson of Barbados, met yesterday for a meeting focusing on various subjects of interests for both countries and the Latin American and Caribbean region.

The meeting confirmed positive bilateral ties between the two countries, in particular the cooperation in a number of spheres, the most notable being public health.
