Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, May 4th, 2009. The First Secretary of the Cuban embassy, Alina Aldama Inniss, was present in the National Award activity to recognize the best students of the country. The ceremony was presided over by the Deputy Governor General Mrs. Monica Dacon, the acting Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sir Louis Straker and others members of the cabinet. Minister Straker, in charge of pronouncing the main speech, had words of high recognition for the support given by Cuba to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines in the formation of University graduates for many years. It has helped develop capable professionals to serve the country. There were also present in the ceremony the national TV and media which covered this important annual activity.
