Belize, October 20, 2009. With various initiatives Cuba’s Culture Day was celebrated in Belize. The central activity took place in Belize City with the presence of Cuban collaborators, friends and the Ambassador of Cuba to this nation. The birth of Cuba’s National Anthem was described as one of the collaborators interpreted on the piano the music of maestro Frank Fernandez. Later the documentary Ode to the Revolution and Diary’s of Motorcycle about the trip in South America of Commander Ernesto Guevara were exhibited. At the end the movie was debated among all present. Cuban Diplomatic Mission to Belize also received messages of congratulations from Belizean institutions and friends from the local press.(Cubaminrex- Embacuba Belize.) |
