Prime Minister of Grenada and Cuban Ambassador to this Island Met GRENADA, 7 April 2010. Prime Minister of Grenada, Hon. Tillman Thomas and the Ambassador of Cuba to the Island, Ángel Reigosa de la Cruz, held a meeting yesterday in this capital. The Head of Government of the Caribbean Island said he was pleased with his recent official visit to Cuba: the first of this type made by the Prime Minister since he took office in July 2008, and with the tour of areas of interest, especially the School of Nursing in Matanzas where several Grenadian youths are studying. At the meeting, they also exchanged views on the talks between the Prime Minister and the President of the Councils of State and of Ministers, Raúl Castro Ruz, and other Cuban leaders, and on the accords reached at the 12th Session of the Grenada-Cuba Intergovernmental Joint Commission, held parallelly to the Prime Minister’s visit between the 2 and 3 March in Havana.
