President of Indonesia thanks the congratulations for the 65 Anniversary of the Independence

INDONESIA, August 18th, 2010.- The President of Indonesia, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, thanked the congratulations on the commemoration of the 65 Anniversary of the Independence of Indonesia that were offered by Jorge León, Ambassador of Cuba and Dean a.i. of the Latin-American and Caribbean Group of the Head of Mission in Jakarta, during the Official Reception offered in the Palace of Government on 17 August 2010. 

The Cuban Ambassador and his wife also offered the deepest congratulations and better desires of peace and prosperity to the wife of the President, as well as to the vice President and his spouse, and subsequently they shared the cultural evening on the table along with the Vice Speaker and the Coordinator of International Relations of the parliament and their respective wives.

In the morning, also in the Presidential Palace, the Cuban diplomat and his wife had the honor to attend the National Central Act and to witness the raising of the Flag of Indonesia in bright ceremony of military gala.
