Cuban Foreign Minister lays wreath at the bust of Major General Antonio Maceo Grajales in Kingston JAMAICA, December 14TH, 2010.-. In the framework of his official visit to Jamaica, Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, visited the National Heroes Park, where he laid a wreath at the bust of Major General Antonio Maceo, who is one of the most eminent personalities of the Cuban independence war of the XIX century and who visited Jamaica several times. His mother, Mariana Grajales died at the age of 85 in Kingston, Jamaica, 1893. Minister Bruno Rodriguez was welcomed at the aforementioned park, by Honorable Olivia Grange, Minister of Youth, Sports, and Culture with whom she exchanged views, in the presence of Cuban Ambassador Yuri Gala Lopez. Present at the ceremony were officials from the Jamaican Foreign Office, accredited, Ambassadors from countries of Latin America and the Caribbean, representatives of the Association of Cuban Residents and members of the Movement of Solidarity with Cuba in Jamaica.
