District Scientific Workshops Conclude in Belize BELIZE, March 9, 2010. - With the celebration of the scientific workshop in Belize City, the district workshops concluded after the presentation in all Belizean districts. In total the workshops had more than 40 presentations and over 60 posters. The work reflected the actions and challenges faced by the Cuban Medical Team in Belize. During the final workshop the attendees enjoyed a conference by Dr. Hidalgo, President of the Belizean Medical Association and a presentation by Dr. Zoila Samuels representing the Association of Cuban Residents in Belize. The conclusions were made by the Ambassador of Cuba to Belize, Manuel Rubido, who congratulated the winners and asked for a successful celebration of the National Workshop which will coincide with the 11 anniversary of the Comprehensive Health Program in Belize.
