Friendly meeting with the President of the Parliamentary Committee of Solidarity with Cuba KENYA, March 9th, 2010. Honorable David Were, President of the Parliamentary Committee of Solidarity with the Island, was received by Cuban Ambassador Julio Cesar Gonzalez Marchante at the diplomatic Mission in Nairobi where they widely talked on the actions to be developed by said Committee during 2010 with the view to reinforce relations between both peoples. The parliamentarian, who visited the Island last August, as member of the Kenyan delegation headed by the President of the legislative body, Kenneth Marende, praised the achievements of the Cuban Revolution in favor of his people and ratified the commitment to exchange experiences for the benefit of both countries.
