Cuba's successful participation at the International Food Fair in Observance of the 31st Anniversary of Saint Lucia's Independence
Saint Lucia, March 1st, 2010. - Cuba was successfully represented at the International Food Fair that took place at Pigeon Island, Saint Lucia's National Park and Landmark, which took place on 28th February, in observance of Saint Lucia's 31st Anniversary of Independence.
At the event, in which the other Diplomatic Representations accredited in the country participated, as well as foreign and Saint Lucian businesses, Cuba offered a wide variety of dishes typical of our country.
The Saint Lucia - Cuba Friendship Association, the Association of Cuban Residents in Saint Lucia and the Brigade of Collaborators, who render their services to the people of Saint Lucia, were also present at the activity. All these groups, together with our Diplomatic staffs had a stand and a menu which left the name and the image of our homeland high on top.
