Cubans in Saint Lucia celebrate International Labour Day, 2nd May, 2010 SAINT LUCIA, May 5, 2010. Gathered at the Headquarters of the Cuban Medical Brigade the Collaborators and the Diplomatic personnel of the State Mission in Saint Lucia met together in the early morning hours, yesterday Saturday May 1st, 2010, to, despite the distance, manifest together with our people, their support for the Revolution, Fidel and Raúl. The rejection to the media campaign and the anti-Cuban provocations from all those people who, from Miami, still make noise and try to bring our country back to the undignified Pseudo Republic status of before 1959 was also expressed. The day was made to coincide with the large crowd demonstrations and the exhibition of the love of our homeland and revolutionary fervour from all of our people at the Revolution Square, from which the televised images and those received live allowed the whole group to come together and to feel like they were a part of that display in a sea of people.
The Cuban Diplomat also dedicated a special section to update everyone present on the situation of the Five Heroes, the negative stituation in respect to the review of Gerardo's sentence and the need to continue the international battle and to keep building and increase our solidarity until we achieve the unconditional release of the Five. At the same time, he informed us on different actions that are planned to commence on the fifth of May, at 5:55 P.M., in which all friends of Cuba are called to be part of the solidarity movement for our country and for the Five Heroes.(Cubaminrex- Embacuba Santa Lucia)
