Vice President of Cuba receives Credentials of new ambassador of Suriname

SURINAME, May 24, 2010. Last Thursday, 20 May 2010, Ike Desmond Antonius presented his letters of credence as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Suriname to the Republic of Cuba, to Esteban Lazo Hernández, Vice President of the State Council of the Republic of Cuba.
Also present at the ceremony was the acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Marcelino Medina González. After the ceremony, the Surinamese ambassador laid a wreath at the José Martí Monument at the Plaza de la Revolución. (Cubaminrex- Embacuba Suriname)
