Vicepresident of the Council of States of Cuba attended the official ceremony of the funerals of the Ex-prime minister David Thompson.

BARBADOS, November 3, 2010.- The Vicepresident of the Council of State, Esteban Lazo Hernández, accompanied by the Cuban Foreing Affairs vice-minister Rogelio Sierra and the Ambassador of Cuba in the island Lissette Perez, attended the official ceremony that took place in the " Kensinton Oval Stadium ", the most important of its type in Barbados, as part of the funerals of the Ex-prime minister David Thompson.
 
In the evening, Lazo, as guest, also attended the reception the government offered to the foreign participants in the funerals of the ex-prime minister David Thompson, occasion in which he exchanged with the chosen Prime minister Freundel Stuart and other members of the cabinet.
