Cuban Ambassador in Trinidad and Tobago talked to a local television program about the unjust and illegal blockade against Cuba. TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO, 25 October 2010.- On the eve of the voting in UNGA of the Cuban resolution calling for an end to the criminal blockade imposed near to 50 years by the Government United States to Cuba, the Cuban Ambassador in Trinidad and Tobago, Humberto Rivero Rosario gave an interview to the live television programme "Gayelle.com" of the local television station Gayelle. During the interview which lasted half an hour the Cuban Ambassador made reference to some of the blockade measures imposed to Cuba and its impact on the economic and social development of the island. Also referred that President Obama has in his hands the possibility to make the blockade more flexible, however had felt short on the expectations of different sectors within the United States, as well as to the international community regarding this topic. The Cuban diplomat also mentioned the strong and solidarity support received from CARICOM countries, who has always accompanied the Cuban people in his call to end this cruel policy.
