Commemorated in Antigua and Barbuda the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Committees for the Defence of the Revolution. Antigua and Barbuda, September 30, 2010.- With a tour of the 4 CDR belonging to members of the Cuban medical brigade in Antigua and Barbuda was commemorated the 50th anniversary of the establishment of this Organization. The course was led by Jose Manuel Inclán Embade Ambassador of Cuba in this country, embassy officials and the head of the medical brigade Antonio Manuel Avila Carnet. In his words, the Cuban ambassador noted with joy the joy of being commemorated this day in a historic moment in the country, the satisfaction of having completed 50 years of fighting in the battle front and that from this small Caribbean island Cuban collaborators maintained high revolutionary vigilance and fighting spirit that characterizes the entire mass of CDR in our country. Cuban collaborators subsequently enjoyed the festivities for the date where the traditional Cuban soupy was present and put it on high that they will continue to represent with dignity to our people anywhere in the world, defending our right and revolutionary principles.
