Confirmed in Indonesia that the blockade of the United States against Cuba is maintained intact. INDONESIA, September 1st, 2010.- During a meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia, the Director of the Multilateral Division could verify that the policy of blockade of the United States against Cuba is maintained intact. The Cuban diplomat offered an updating of the main affectations of that genocidal policy against the Cuban people, which has been applied during more than 50 years in which constitutes, historically, the most prolonged systematic, flagrant, and massive violation of the human rights. Besides, he denounced that the American governments have ignored the Resolutions of the General Assembly of the UN that have been approved consecutively for 19 years, condemning the blockade and requiring its elimination. It remained evident that the President Obama has the historic opportunity to head the change of politics toward Cuba and to eliminate the financial, commercial, and economic blockade that is maintained intact, but the steps that has given eliminating some of the brutal restrictions of the administration Bush, they have been limited and insufficient. Finally, the Indonesian official and the Cuban diplomat ratified the full will to continue deepening the multilateral and bilateral cooperation and to fortify the friendly relations between Cuba and Indonesian.
