Jamaican parliamentarian attends screening at the Cuban Embassy of documentary “The Path of Terror”.
JAMAICA, April 18, 2011. Last Thursday, 14th April, Jamaican parliamentarian Donald Rhodd attended the screening, at the Cuban Embassy, of the documentary “The Path of Terror (Chapters I and II)” of the series Cuba’s Reasons.
In this function, also present were members of the Association of Cubans Residing in Jamaica (ACRJ) and members of the Cuban State Mission in this sister Caribbean nation. Before the screening started, H.E. Yuri Gala López, Cuban Ambassador, read the text of the recent Statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cuba which denounces the acquittal of the notorious terrorist Luis Posada Carriles on mere migratory charges impeached to him, ignoring the accusatorial evidences presented even at the shameful trial at El Paso, Texas.
After the documentary ended, some of the attendees took the floor, including parliamentary Donald Rhodd, who reiterated his solidarity with Cuba, condemned the acquittal of terrorist Posada Carriles and spoke in favour of the immediate release of the Five Cuban antiterrorist fighters who are unjustly imprisoned in the U.S territory.
