Opening of the Saudi Embassy in Cuba.CUBA, 31 July 2011.--The Embassy of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in Havana held a reception at the Hotel Nacional, on the occasion of the opening of the embassy. The reception was attended by a number of senior officials in the Republic of Cuba and the Ambassadors of the Arabian, Islamic and friendly countries to the Republic of Cuba. At the beginning of the ceremony which was held the day before yesterday, the Chargé d' Affaires Hassan bin Said al Jomae made a speech in which he stressed the depth of relations between the Kingdom and the Republic of Cuba, noting that the opening of the embassy is a testament to the desire of the leaders of both countries in the prosperity level of relations to the highest levels in all areas. And he underlined in his speech the prominent role of Cuba toward the Arab and crucial issues. At the end of the speech, the Chargé d' Affaires thanked the Cuban government led by President Raul Castro for the support received by the embassy when it opens. (Cubaminrex-Embacuba Saudi Arabia)
