Embassy Visited by Young People that Will Study in Cuba.


estudiantes-embajada2GRENADA, August 24th, 2011.- In the afternoon of August 19th, 2011, five students that will study medicine in Cuba, and their relatives, visited the Cuban Embassy in Grenada.  The visit was made due to an invitation of His Excellency Mr. Angel Reigosa de la Cruz, Cuban Ambassador in the sister nation.  In less than 30 minutes, the Ambassador sum up most of our Revolution´s history, he also made a brief description about our Five Cuban Heroes unjustly imprisoned in U.S. Jails.  Likewise, he described them the world campaign made in order to liberate this Five men.

Also, the Grenadian Ambassador to Cuba was present, His Excellency Mr. Raphael Joseph. He explained them how lucky they were at receiving free scholarships. He also explained about the 51 scholarships that Cuba used to give to Grenada and the reason this number was not the same. This happened because of the current world economical situation and the unfair economical blockade imposed by the United States Government to Cuba.  Joseph also gave them an outlook about Cuba and stressed that Cuba has everything they need and that they will be Grenadian Ambassadors in Cuba.
