Embassy of Cuba Participates in the Saint Lucia Festival of Lights
SAINT LUCIA, December 13th, 2011.- As part of the festivities initiated from independence in 1979, on this day, December 12th, the Annual Festival of Lanterns and Lights took place in Saint Lucia. The activity was presided over by Governor General on the island, H.E. Dame Pearlette Louisy and counted on the participation of the members of the new Cabinet. The Cuban Embassy was invited for the occasion, during which a colorful cultural performance was enjoyed and the display of the people´s creativity in lights and lanterns, a true party of the people.
