Medical Brigade in Jamaica Holds National Scientific Workshop on the Latin American Medicine Day
JAMAICA, December 5, 2011.- Last Saturday, 3 December, coinciding with the Day of the Latin American Medicine, the Cuban Medical Brigade held its National Scientific Workshop, after finishing a series of scientific regional scientific workshops.
This National Scientific Workshop was attended by Ambassador Yuri Gala López, Third Secretary Yaima González and Dr. Caridad Carbó, Head of the Cuban Medical Brigade.
Twelve papers were presented, six in the modality of free topic and six in the method of posters, each of them discussed in English, in the presence of the 110 specialists who make up the aforesaid Medical Brigade. After the discussion, special recognition was made to the authors of the best presentations. The closing remarks of this function were given by Ambassador Gala Lopez. (Cubaminrex/Embacuba Jamaica)
