Cuban First Vice-President Receives Bolivian Counterpart
CUBA, January 18th, 2011.- Cuban First Vice-President José Ramón MachadoVentura received his Bolivian counterpart Álvaro García Linera who is visiting Cuba to attend the 52nd Casa de las Americas Literary Award.
In the meeting the two officials ratified the excellent status of the bilateral relations between the two countries and the will of the two governments to strengthen their bonds.
They also addressed topics of common interest in the regional and global spheres.
Garcia Linera was accompanied by Bolivian Ambassador to Cuba, Palmiro León Soria Saucedo, Chief of Cabinet Guissela Vanisse Alcázar Álvarez and Communications director Silvana Saavedra Rodríguez.
Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla was present as well. (Cubaminrex - ACN)
