Cuban Culture Week Honoring Jose Marti in Caracas
VENEZUELA, January 22th, 2011.- Cuban Ambassador to Venezuela Rogelio Polanco announced a week of Cuban culture marking the 158th birthday of Cuban National Hero Jose Marti and the 130th anniversary of his arrival in Caracas.
The Cuban diplomat laid a wreath at a bust to Marti in La Pastora Parish. Polanco praised cultural integration between the two countries.
Polanco said that the week celebration –coinciding with the 120th anniversary of his essay Nuestra America- will show the Bolivarian Revolution international span embracing Cuba, Latin America and the world, to share our cultural wealth. (Cubaminrex - RHC)
