 Cuban Ambassador Meets Bhutan Health Minister.
BHUTAN, July 6, 2011.- As part of his visit to Bhutan, Ambassador Miguel Angel Ramirez, held a fruitful meeting with the Minister of Health of the Himalayan Kingdom, Zangley Dukpa, with whom he discussed various aspects in the field of health, as well as the possibilities of cooperation in this area.
The Cuban diplomat also noted how many Bhutanese have studied and are currently studying medicine in Cuba, which is a priority of this Kingdom, that aims to improve social indicators in line with its special policy of "Gross Happiness Product" in contraposition to the renowned GDP (Gross Domestic Product) and took the opportunity to inquire about two new medical scholarships offered to that country.
The meeting is part of regular exchanges taking place between the two countries, which hold friendly ties. (Cubaminrex-Embacuba India)
