IZ7F0505kkk_0Cuban Ambassador Presents Credentials in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

MANAMA, May 24, 2011.- The Cuban Ambassador, Laureano Rodriguez Castro, presented to the King of Bahrain, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Letters of Credence accrediting him as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary non-resident of the Republic of Cuba to this country.

By submitting his credentials and the retirement of his predecessor, the Ambassador conveyed to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the greetings of the President of the Councils of State and Ministers of the Republic of Cuba, Raul Castro Ruz, along with his best wishes for good health to His Majesty and the progress and prosperity to the people of Bahrain.

The Ambassador expressed the honor of presenting his credentials to His Majesty and said he would strive to develop his country's relations with the Kingdom.

During the ceremony, His Majesty welcomed the new envoy to the Kingdom, thanked for the greetings and good wishes of President Raul Castro Ruz and expressed similar wishes for the President and the Cuban people, praising the ties of friendship between Bahrain and Cuba, wishing to the Ambassador success in his efforts to promote bilateral relations between both countries during the performance of their duties in the Kingdom.

The ceremony was attended by the Royal Court Minister, Foreign Affairs Minister, the Minister for Follow Up at the Royal Court and the King’s Advisor on Diplomatic Affairs.

On the same day presented credentials to His Majesty a total of 6 ambassadors. (Cubaminrex-Embacuba Arabia Saudita)
