Minister of Education Receives Cuban Ambassador TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO, June 29, 2011.- The Minister of Education of Trinidad and Tobago Hon. Dr. Tim Gopeesingh received yesterday the Cuban Ambassador Humberto Rivero Rosario. During the productive meeting, the two personalities exchanged ideas on issues of interest and in particular about the possibility of cooperation between the two countries in the education field. The Minister of Education of Trinidad and Tobago was interested in learning about the Cuban education system. He expressed his desire to receive Cuban cooperation for the training of Spanish Teachers and Methodologists, as well as the training of students in vocational skills and in the area of special education. The Cuban Ambassador thanked the Minister for the hospitality received and assured the willingness of the Cuban Government to strengthen the relation with the Government of Trinidad and Tobago in this area, (Cubaminrex-Embacuba Trinidad and Tobago) |
