Cuba-Brazil XI Meeting of Technical Cooperation Ends with Signature of Final Document

HAVANA, November 10, 2011.- With the presence of Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade and Investment (MINCEX), Ramón Ripoll, and His Excellency José Felicio, ambassador of Brazil to Cuba, the Final Act of the  XI Meeting  of Technical Cooperation Cuba-Brazil was signed. The document was endorsed by Ruben Ramos, Director of Latin America and the Caribbean at MINCEX, and María Augusta Montalvao Ferraz, head of the Brazilian delegation and Coordinator of Cooperation with South America and the Caribbean of the Brazilian Agency for Cooperation.
The document embraces 10 new projects that will be part of the cooperation agenda between both countries in 2012, joining another 12 under way in different stages. The new projects encompass areas such as Agriculture, Health, Geology, Metrology and Normalization, among others.
Both parts acknowledged the positive situation of the bilateral cooperation which is result of the excellent bilateral relations.  (Cubaminrex)
