Leading Jamaican Newspaper Publishes Special Advertising on the 30th Anniversary of Sports School Built by Cuba JAMAICA, November 22, 2011.- Last Tuesday, 22nd November, the Jamaican newspaper The Observer, published a special advertisement on the thirty years of operation of the “G.C. Foster” College of Physical Education and Sports, an institution donated and built by Cuba. In the aforesaid 12-page special ad, extensive information on the contribution the College has made to the development of sports in Jamaica and in other CARICOM countries is offered. Likewise, the role played by the Government of Cuba in the setting up of the aforementioned sports College is highlighted. In this context, the special advertisement is illustrated with photographs of the recent visit paid to Jamaica by Professor Arnaldo Rivero Fuxá, INDER´s Sports Teaching Director, who came to Jamaica specially invited to attend the “G.C. Foster”, College´s celebration on its 30th Anniversary.
