Cuba and Trinidad and Tobago signed cooperation agreement in the area of Sport TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO, October 13, 2011.- In a ceremony attended by the Minister of Sports of Trinidad and Tobago Mr. Anil Roberts, was signed today a Cooperation Agreement between the Ministry of Sport of Trinidad and Tobago and CUBADEPORTES company. The agreement was initialled by Mr. Ashwin Creed, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Sports and by Mr. Humberto Rivero Rosario, Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to this country, who ratified the prior signature of the Director of Technical Assistance of CUBAPORTES. It resumed the cooperation between the two countries in the area of sports and represents a new chapter in the strengthening of the relationship between Cuba and Trinidad and Tobago. As a result of this, 9 sports coaches in boxing, volleyball, basketball, judo and track and field will soon travel to Trinidad and Tobago and will be on the island for two years sharing their knowledge and experiences in their respective disciplines.
