Jamaica-Cuba Friendship Association gives interview on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of Barbados airliner bombing
JAMAICA, October 3, 2011.- Last Sunday 2nd October, Mr. Lloyd Eubank-Green, an executive of the Jamaica-Cuba Friendship Association, granted a radio interview to IRIE FM radio station.
During the radio interview, Mr. Eubank gave information on some of the actions that Association is carrying out within the framework of the international campaign of solidarity with our Five Heroes and of denunciation of the unjust blockade imposed by the U.S. against Cuba.
In that regard, Mr. Eubank-Green highlighted that on Saturday 8th October, a public function would be held in the city of Kingston to tackle two issues: to remember the events and the victims of the well-known in-flight bombing of a Cuban civil airliner in 1976, and to pay homage to Commanders Camilo Cienfuegos and Ernesto Che Guevara.
