SAINT LUCIA, October 3rd, 2011.- As a conclusion to the Solidarity Meeting with Cuba, dedicated from beginning to end to the release of Gerardo, René, Antonio, Fernando and Ramón, a Declaration was approved in which, in remembrance of the 35th Anniversary of the Crime in Barbados on October 6th, 1976, it makes an energetic call to President Obama for the immediate release of our heroes, for him to put an end to the genocidal Blockade and to end the undeclared war against Cuba. (Cubaminrex- Embacuba Saint Lucia).
IN THIS DECLARATION
We State That:
While the undeclared war against
The Free and Sovereign Republic of Cuba
continues unabated,
We gather here today, the 1st of October, 2011, 5 days before the 36th commemoration of a most abominable act of terrorism – the brutal murder of 73 innocent civilians off the island of Barbados on October 6th, 1976...
We gather here in SOLIDARITY with:
Antonio Guerrero Rodríguez
Fernando González Llort
Ramón Labañino Salazar
Rene González Sehwerert
and
Gerardo Hernández Nordelo
Five Cuban Patriots who, after decades of deadly terrorist attacks against the State of Cuba, causing the deaths of over 3,000 men, women, and children, and the maiming of over 2,000 more, accepted the dangerous mission to travel to the US state of Florida to infiltrate the Miami-based terrorist organizations operating there with the full knowledge of The White House and its federal security services.
This successful operation ended on the 12th of September, 1998, when, after the Havana Authorities grew increasingly concerned at the content of the information they received, they decided to share such information with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, expecting the appropriate action to be taken. On that date, they were arrested and have been incarcerated since then in prisons in five separate States.
We,
The Undersigned,
on this First Day of October, Twenty-eleven,
gathered together at The Castries City Corporation’s Auditorium situated on
Peynier Street,
IN SOLIDARITY WITH
THE CUBAN 5
AND WITH THE PEOPLES OF
THE FREE AND SOVEREIGN REPUBLIC OF CUBA
Call on
BARACK HUSSAIN OBAMA
PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
to:
- End the blatant violation of the Human Rights of The Cuban 5 and grant visas to family members of The 5, in particular Olga Salanueva and Adriana Perez
- Exercise his Executive Prerogatives and unconditionally release The 5
- End the Genocidal Blockade of the Free And Sovereign Republic Of Cuba
- End the Undeclared War against the Free and Sovereign Republic of Cuba
