Port Spain, October 19, 2011. The Cuban Ambassador in Trinidad and Tobago Humberto Rivero Rosario, received in his Office Mr. Amilcar Sanatan, President of the Guild of Students of the University of the West Indies (UWI), St. Augustine Campus. During the meeting, attended also by Mr. Kenique Ivery, Chairperson of the Arthur Lewis Hall of UWI and Mrs. Ana Silvia Rodríguez Abascal, Minister Counsellor of the Cuban Embassy, both parties exchanged on topics of interest and in particular on the possible trip to Cuba of a group of students from UWI. The Cuban Ambassador took the opportunity to deliver to the Student´s Leaders a copy of the report submitted by Cuba to the Secretary General of the United Nations on the impact of the American blockade to Cuba and other materials of interest.
